RENTAL TERMS AND POLICIES

CHECK IN/OUT: Check in time is after 3:00 PM EST. Check out is at 11:00 AM EST. No early check in or late check out.

NO SMOKING: This is a Non-Smoking unit.

PETS: No pets are allowed unless specific arrangements have been made and non-refundable pet fees have been paid in advance.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit of $150 is required at booking. The deposit is not applied toward the rental rate; however, it is fully refundable within 14 days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:
a. No damage is done to the camper or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets, damages or services rendered during the stay.
c. All debris, rubbish and discards are removed and deposited in the appropriate refuse container located at the State Park.
d. The camper key is left inside the camper prior to departure. There is a $50 lost key fee. If a guest loses their key during their stay there will be an additional $25 key delivery fee.
e. No items are lost or damaged. The property is equipped with a small charcoal grill, grill cookware, assorted campfire cookware and utensils, 4 flashlights, 1 battery operated lantern, radio, coffee pot, camp table, vinyl tablecloth, small rug, plastic kitchenware, kitchen towels and scrub brush, 1 tent, 5 camp chairs, fire extinguisher, gas propane tank, Property items are inventoried weekly. You will be charged for any missing items.
f. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), State Park ranger or local law enforcement.

PAYMENT: An advance payment of 100% of the rental rate is required at booking. Please make payments via Paypal on our website at www.kelleysislandcottage.com on the “Contact Us” page or in the form of bank money orders, cashier’s checks or personal checks payable to Sarah Krafty and mail to:

CANCELLATIONS: A fifteen (15) day notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations that are made more than fifteen (15) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made fifteen (15) days or less will be subject to a cancellation fee of one half the rental rate for the scheduled stay if the owner is unable to rent to another party.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guests is limited to four (4) persons. An additional charge of $20.00 per person per night for guests in addition to four (4) will be assessed. Camp ‘N Go requires a two (2) night minimum stay.

CARE OF PROPERTY: You are responsible for maintaining the camper in a neat and sanitary condition. Please respect other campground guests. Please observe the State Park’s posted quiet time. Upon departure, please sweep out the camper and spray clean the tables and countertops. Dispose of trash and recyclables in the designated receptacles at the State Park. Dispose of any charcoal remaining in the grill in the approved locations at the State Park. Do not leave any items in the refrigerator or trash at the campsite. Please clean and return the coffee pot and any cooking items or kitchenware to their appropriate locations. Please return flashlights, lantern, radio, tent, etc. to their original location and in a tidy manner.

Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
Any exception to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

No refunds will be given for inclement weather unless the National Weather Service or local law enforcement orders a mandatory evacuation. In the event of a mandatory evacuation we will refund any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered, or scheduled to arrive and will result in a shortened stay.

LEGAL TERMS
Normal wear and tear on the camper is to be expected, but abuse or damage to the camper will be the responsibility of the recipient.

Any cost to repair or replace the camper and it’s accessories as a result of any acts of accident, vandalism, fire or theft will be the responsibility of the recipient. Should the camper be damaged beyond repair or stolen during the term of this contract, the recipient is liable for the replacement cost of the camper.

Kelleys Island Camp ‘n Go shall have the right to terminate this agreement and take possession of camper for violation of the rental agreement.

The Recipient acknowledges that the title to the camper contracted hereunder shall at all times be held by Kelleys Island Camp ‘n Go.

The Recipient shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless Kelleys Island Camp ‘n Go as well as their agents, employees and affiliates, from and against all injury, losses, damages, liabilities or expenses including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney’s fees and litigation costs which any of them incur arising out of the possession or use of the camper by the recipient.
